The final stage, the Over-the-Board Final, will take place in Almaty from August 4 to August 9, bringing together 16 teams: the 8 winners of the second stage listed above plus 8 wild card entries invited by FIDE and the organizers.
Initially, these 16 teams, divided into four balanced groups, will play a double round-robin tournament to determine the top two teams from each group. The tournament will then proceed to a play-off format, including the quarterfinals, semifinals, a third-place match, and the final match for first place.
All games of the final stage will be contested under a fast classical time control of 45+30
